Sunset Shores is a luxury vacation home at Lake Anna, VA that is exquisitely designed for the comfort of each guest. This 5 star rated home sleeps up to 24 guests in beds. Located in Noah’s Landing, the most exclusive neighborhood on the private side of Lake Anna, guests can enjoy with miles of trails and quiet streets, including common areas with tennis, basketball, and a neighborhood boat launch. Sunset Shores is perfect for families, friends, corporate outings, and large groups.

  • Why travel 6 hours or more to outer banks? Located only 1.5 hours from Northern Virginia and less than an hour from Richmond, this home is ideal for large groups, multiple families and reunions. Built in May 2015, Sunset Shores was designed with luxury, comfort and convenience in mind. This waterfront home is on the Private (also called ‘warm’) side of the Lake Anna, and has the best of both worlds – wide water sunset views all year long, while also providing the privacy and calm waters of a cove, with the unique feature of onsite gas for your watercraft!
  • Available for weekly rentals Sunday to Sunday, or 3 day minimum in non-peak season. Reservations can be made 11.5 months in advance of your check-in date. This home boasts 7 bedrooms – each with their own dedicated bathroom with quartz countertops and custom tile. Luxurious rain shower heads in each bathroom. Each bedroom was designed to have its own unique features. Each of the 6 master bedrooms has french doors leading to decks or patios and has gorgeous lake views. One master bedroom comes with a wheelchair accessible bathroom with a steam room shower.
  • Watch gorgeous sunsets and Lake Anna’s famous fireworks show from your own private beach or from the house’s huge deck or screened porch. Bird watchers will enjoy seeing bald eagles, great blue heron, osprey, woodpeckers, cormoran, geese and a wide variety of other birds.
  • Outdoor recreation includes: your own private boardwalk and soft sand beach; private on-site volleyball court; corn hole/bean bag toss; horse shoes; ping pong table under covered porch; firepit; 2 hammocks; 2 stand up paddleboards; 2 kayaks; and a high-end boathouse with tiki bar, fridge and freezer, large sunning/swim deck, huge screened porch, and room for all of your watercraft. Within a short walk, this wonderful neighborhood also has community Tennis Court, Basketball Court, Volleyball Pit, Boat Ramp and neighborhood beach.
  • An easy to drive 15 Passenger 2020 Bentley Pontoon boat is available for rent on the property (minimum of 2 days rental). Enjoy exploring the lake, fishing, sight seeing, or just lounging around on this wonderful pontoon boat. Sunset Shores has its own Ethanol-Free Gas Tank for the use of our guests (extra charges apply). Bring your own boat or rent ours, you can fuel your boat from our gas supply for a reasonable price per gallon.
  • Volleyball court is lighted for nighttime playing. Watch volleyball games from private viewing deck.
  • The media/entertainment area boasts a movie theater with 120 inch screen and 7.1 surround sound, YouTube Live, Blu Ray/dvd player; pool table; full pub-bar with ice maker, fridge and a dishwasher; separate pub/pool table TV. Two story main level great room includes beautiful stone surround gas fireplace, 58 inch TV with surround sound, and the most amazing lake views!
  • The gourmet kitchen will be the envy of any chef and comes with top-of-the-line appliances: two sub-zero refrigerators, a sub-zero wine fridge with two additional fridge drawers, 2 ovens, 48 inch dacor range top and dacor microwave, 2 dishwashers, a pantry room with another sub-zero freezer and a separate commercial style dish washing sink. Plenty of seating for meals at the huge 12 foot dining table, 3 kitchen bar counters, and eat-in screened porch.

We had a wonderful time ringing in the New Year with our wonderful family. Family came from New Jersey, New York and Tennessee and met in the "middle" at Lake Anna. The house is beautiful and fully equipped. There is plenty of space for together and alone time. We were blessed with beautiful weather especially for Dec 30th when it was nearly 75 degrees and the some folks were kayaking, paddle boarding and even swimming!!!! It was absolutely beautiful just sitting down at the boat house. Strongly recommend everything about this house!!!

We recently visited Sunset Shores for a Long Weekend getaway.
We recently visited Sunset Shores for a Long Weekend getaway. The home exceeded our expectations on every level. The house itself has a perfect layout for entertaining with a very open floor plan both upstairs and down. All of the bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms were super comfortable and the screen porch was our favorite place to eat meals cooked in the gourmet kitchen. The pontoon boat they have available for rent right at the dock was a great asset for daily boat rides with the family. They also had kayaks, canoes, basketball court and a fire pit we enjoyed most every night. We will definitely return to Sunset Shores for another vacation. Thank you!

This house was just what our extended family needed during this crazy time! Sunset Shores was thoughtfully designed to accommodate groups (we had 13 people) with its fully appointed kitchen, ample refrigerator and freezer space, two ovens, ice makers, dishwashers and laundry machines. We never left for the entire week and enjoyed the pontoon boat, kayaks, paddle boards and swimming. The fire pit was terrific for s'mores at night. Everyone was comfortable in their rooms and we made wonderful new family memories. Thank you!

This house had it all!
This house had it all! The kids ages 8-17 had an endless choice of activities and the adults were spoiled with modern touches and an incredible home. Everything was top notch from the music through the main house, outdoor spaces and boathouse to the pool table, volleyball court and lake toys. The lake mat, kayaks, paddle boards and dock were perfect and the protected cove felt like a secure area for the kids to explore. There was so much to do right on property at Sunset Shores - we never had to leave! Owner and property manager were extremely responsive to all questions. We can't wait to return! This was the most luxurious and well appointed house we have ever rented! Absolutely awesome!

We chose this place for a girls trip (age 50-70) and had a blast. The home was perfect and kitchen well stocked for cooking and entertaining. This lakefront home is both stunning and spacious, perfect for a family retreat! The owner has carefully considered every detail to ensure your stay is memorable and comfortable, even for a large group. Our party of 20 had ample space to unwind. The lake view? Simply spectacular. The property features a large pontoon boat for rent at the boathouse. However, the Wi-Fi signal is rather weak, which made streaming games and movies difficult, much to my young grandchildren's dismay. Aside from that, it's an ideal lakeside house! You'll love the size of the bedrooms and closets, refrigerators, freezer and pantry. The lauudnry room is massive. I could go on and on. You will wanto come back again and again.

We loved this rental! We stayed for a long weekend in April with friends and had a wonderful time. The place was just as pictured, and had a fantastic view. Plenty of room for a large group of people to still be able to spread out. The location is pretty remote but the house has everything you need so you don't need to go anywhere! The property owner was also very responsive through our whole process. Would definitely stay here again!

The kids really enjoyed the grounds and lake with paddle boards and kayaks. We all enjoyed the pontoon, boat house and fire pit. The owner was very responsive and more than helpful. The property caretaker was immediately responsive and took care of everything. We highly recommend this property! It will exceed your expectations and you will have a lovely time!
